Moderating Twitter Feeds

So imagine you are using Twitter, and you have an event coming up. You plan ahead and announce an event hash tag, like #GreatConf. People start using it, but you want to encourage more participation once people arrive. Somebody suggests that you show the tweets on big screens at the event, which seems like an easy enough task.

It’s not.

Well, let me qualify that. It’s not as easy as you might expect.

From Mark: Apologies to the author of the above, I changed a few words. I was doing some research about how to ‘moderate’ Twitter for public consumption as a risk management strategy for public events.
